How we work
Four rules we don't break.
Structure is the suspense
No narrator, no gimmick. If the shape of the telling isn't doing work the plot can't, we rebuild the shape.
Restraint over spectacle
Violence, assault and intimacy are handled by implication. Never gratuitous, never decorative, never cut later to please a censor.
No cartoons
The liar's love is real. The investigator is competent and still wrong. Everyone is someone's version of correct.
Endings that argue
We'd rather send an audience into the parking lot disagreeing than hand them a verdict on the way out.
